Meet Casandra Gaderon, a dedicated resident of Newark, NJ, with a deep-rooted military heritage. Her father served ten years of active duty and an additional fourteen years as a Navy reservist. Her sister has over a decade of service in the Army National Guard and is currently a reservist. Additionally, Casandra’s extended family, including several cousins, an aunt, a great-uncle, and a god-brother, have all served in the United States Armed Forces. Inspired by this legacy, Casandra has chosen to serve veterans on the civilian side.

Casandra works with the federal government, where she finds immense satisfaction in making a positive impact on the lives of veterans, whom she regards as American heroes.

Casandra graduated from University High School in Newark, NJ, and furthered her education at Essex County College, earning an A.S. in Criminal Justice in 2008. She then attended Rutgers University, where she obtained a B.S. in Criminal Justice and Sociology in 2011. Casandra is considering joining the United States Armed Forces in the future, as she is passionate about continuing her work with the public and exploring new career paths.

In her downtime, Casandra enjoys spending quality time with her teenage daughter, CassieLynné. They often go to the movies and visit family and friends. Casandra also loves taking long-distance road trips.
