A-Larenée Davis is a multi-hyphenate artist: singer—actress, hand model and artisan . This Newark native is a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music and has received distinguished awards such as the New Jersey Governor Award for Arts and Education, the Jeffrey Carollo Scholarship, The Star Ledger Scholarship and a scholarship for Le Académie d’été de Nice in the South of France.
Previous engagements include The Little Mermaid at Argyle Theater as Andrina, Evita at Seacoast Repertory Theatre, Kathleen Battle’s Underground Railroad: A Spiritual Journey at the Metropolitan Opera House, Spoleto Festival USA’s Porgy and Bess and Afram ou la Belle Swita, Vogue’s CDFA Awards, The John F. Kennedy Center and New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
A-Larenée’s film and television appearances include Power (Starz), The Get Down (Netflix Original Series), and Ted 2. She can also be seen in a recent ad for Arizona’s new ‘Sun Rise Seltzer’ and is currently on national billboard ads for Google’s Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3.
